Hey all! As some of you may know, Spencer and I bought our first house in May and have been working hard to make it our very own for the past few months. Our first big project was the living room. When looking at the house, we were automatically drawn to this space because of the vaulted ceilings with wooden beams (swoon). So naturally, it became our first project.

Here are some before pictures. 

Now for the after pictures! First, we painted the living room with Popular Gray by Sherwin Williams. 

Then we hired R & C Builders to install new flooring, baseboards, and french doors. For flooring, we went with a laminate because of the lower price and durability (winning). We used Lowe’s Antique Hickory Wood Plank Laminate, and LOVE it. 

Our sweet friend Jay Ross made us both the coffee table AND the blanket ladder. It’s fun to have these things in our main space to remind us of friends that have loved us well along our journey.

Now, onto our next project, the backyard. 😉
