This past weekend, my cousins Kelly, Marisha and I decided to abandon our significant others and do a “girl’s weekend” in Fredericksburg, Texas. Holy moly it was so much fun. You see, there’s a 12 year age gap between Kelley and I, and a 6 year gap between Marisha and I, so we just sort of missed each other growing up. Let me tell ya, after this weekend (and the many more to come), we won’t be ‘missing’ each other anymore!
Kelley ever so generously rented a house (she spoils her baby cousins) for the three of us at a place called Tres Lunas Resort. It’s off the beaten trail about halfway in between Mason and Fredericksburg. Basically, this sweet little couple built their house out there, along with a few casitas and another free standing house for people to rent.

We decided we need to go back in the summer sometime so we could sip our coffee in those sweet rocking chairs without freezing our bunz off!

Here’s the view from the front porch. At night you could see little deer eyes peering at you in the distance! Creepy?
The property also had a cool looking chapel type thing. #gorgeous Ps. my photography skills don’t do this place justice.
The BEST part about this place: A ‘cowboy breakfast’ was placed in our oven each morning at 9am and consisted of this sort of goodness. My stomach was such a happy camper.
While in Fredericksburg, we did a lot of wine tasting, shopping and eating (like a lot of eating). It was GLORIOUS.

Marisha and Kelley are into the “suck your face in” red wines and me? I’ll just stick with the sweet whites. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVED growing closer with these two over the weekend. Annual girl’s weekends are a must!
